Nick Olczyk is a former professional ice hockey player, known for his tenure as a center in the National Hockey League (NHL) and various minor leagues. He was born on January 28, 1993, in Oak Brook, Illinois, and is the son of former NHL player and coach Eddie Olczyk. Nick played junior hockey with the U.S. National Under-18 Team and was highly regarded for his skill and leadership on the ice.
In 2011, Olczyk was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the seventh round of the NHL Entry Draft. He made his professional debut with the Manchester Monarchs in the American Hockey League (AHL) following a collegiate career at the University of Vermont, where he served as team captain and demonstrated significant offensive prowess.
