Biography
Nicklas Lidström, born on April 28, 1970, in Kvänum, Sweden, is a former professional ice hockey player renowned for his exceptional skills as a defenseman. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the third round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft and quickly established himself as one of the premier defensemen in the National Hockey League (NHL). Lidström made his NHL debut in the 1991-92 season and went on to play his entire 20-year career with the Red Wings.
