Niclas Bergfors, born on March 7, 1987, in Stockholm, Sweden, is a retired professional ice hockey player notable for his dynamic offensive skills. He began his career in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) with Djurgårdens IF, where he showcased his scoring ability and playmaking skills, leading to his selection in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils as the 23rd overall pick.
