Nikita Nikitin, born on June 16, 1986, in Nizhnekamsk, Russia, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman known for his significant contributions to both the KHL and the NHL. He began his career in the Russian leagues before being drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the fifth round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
