Nikita Okhotyuk is a Russian professional ice hockey player, born on December 4, 2000. A defenseman, Okhotyuk gained recognition for his strong skating ability and defensive skills. He began his junior career with the Avangard Omsk organization, where he showcased his potential and caught the attention of scouts.
In 2018, Okhotyuk was selected in the second round, 61st overall, by the New Jersey Devils in the NHL Entry Draft. He subsequently transitioned to the United States to further develop his skills in the major junior hockey league, playing for the Ottawa 67's in the Ontario Hockey League.
