Niko Dimitrakos, born on May 21, 1979, in the United States, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his skills as a forward. He played college hockey at the University of Maine, where he helped lead the Black Bears to win the NCAA Championship in 1993, earning recognition as one of the top prospects in the country. Dimitrakos was selected in the 5th round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers.
Dimitrakos made his NHL debut during the 2001-02 season with the San Jose Sharks, where he quickly established himself as a versatile forward. Over the course of his career, he played for several teams including the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Florida Panthers, achieving notable success in both regular-season and playoff performances.
