Nikolai Kulemin, born on July 14, 1986, in Magnitogorsk, Russia, is a professional ice hockey player known for his versatile offensive skills. He began his career in the Russian Superleague with Metallurg Magnitogorsk, where he showcased significant potential and caught the attention of NHL scouts. Kulemin was selected 44th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
During his NHL career, Kulemin played primarily with the Toronto Maple Leafs from 2008 to 2014, where he became known for his strong two-way play and consistency on the ice. He achieved a career-high of 30 points in the 2011-12 NHL season and played a key role during the team’s playoff aspirations.
