Biography
Norm Evans, born on September 28, 1942, is a former American football player who enjoyed a successful career in the National Football League (NFL) as an offensive tackle. Respected for his skill and tenacity on the field, Evans played the majority of his career with the Miami Dolphins, where he was integral to the team’s offensive line during their Super Bowl victories in the early 1970s.
Evans was selected by the Dolphins in the 14th round of the 1965 NFL Draft and became a starter in his second season. Over the course of his nine seasons with Miami, he earned a reputation as one of the league's top linemen and contributed to the Dolphins' historic 1972 season, when the team finished undefeated. His performance was instrumental in the team's approach to both the running and passing games.
After leaving Miami, Evans played for the Seattle Seahawks and was known for his durability and consistency on the offensive line.
