Biography
Norm Maracle, born on October 2, 1974, in Owen Sound, Ontario, is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender. He was drafted 59th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 3rd round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. Maracle played for several teams in the National Hockey League (NHL) including the New Jersey Devils, Atlanta Thrashers, and the Ottawa Senators, as well as in various leagues across North America and Europe.
Throughout his career, Maracle achieved notable success in the American Hockey League (AHL), earning the Merv H. McKenzie Award as the AHL's Best Goaltender in the 1997-98 season.
