Normand Baron, born on December 15, 1957, in Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his contributions to the sport during the late 1970s and 1980s. A skilled defenseman, Baron was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1977 NHL Entry Draft and played parts of three seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). His time in the league included stints with the Canadiens as well as the New Jersey Devils.
Baron enjoyed a successful career in the American Hockey League (AHL) after his NHL tenure, playing for teams such as the Nova Scotia Voyageurs and the Binghamton Whalers.
