Biography
Normand Rochefort, born on January 28, 1961, in Montreal, Quebec, is a retired Canadian ice hockey defenseman known for his versatility and strong defensive play. He was drafted 83rd overall by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. Rochefort made his NHL debut during the 1984-85 season and went on to play for several teams, including the New Jersey Devils, and the Philadelphia Flyers.
Throughout his career, Rochefort exhibited consistent performance on the ice, primarily in a defensive role. He played a total of 479 regular season games in the NHL, accumulating 25 goals and 99 assists.
