Nuruzzaman is a former professional cricketer from Bangladesh, notable for his contributions to the national team between 1995 and 2003. Primarily an opening batsman, he represented Bangladesh in both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Test matches during a formative period in the nation's cricketing history. His participation in the inaugural ICC Cricket World Cup in 1999 marked a significant milestone for Bangladesh as they were granted Full Member status by the ICC.
Throughout his career, Nuruzzaman played in 16 ODIs and 4 Test matches, where he showcased his talent on the international stage. He was known for his aggressive batting style and solid technique, playing a crucial role in some of the early matches that helped lay the groundwork for future successes of Bangladeshi cricket.
