Oliver Luck, born on April 5, 1960, in charlotte, West Virginia, is a former American football quarterback who is best known for his collegiate career at West Virginia University. He played for the Mountaineers from 1978 to 1981, where he garnered attention for his strong arm and athleticism, eventually leading the team to an impressive four consecutive bowl game appearances. Luck was recognized as a standout player and was selected in the second round of the 1982 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers.
