Olli Jokinen, born on December 5, 1978, in Los Angeles, California, is a Finnish professional ice hockey player renowned for his success in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected third overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, marking the beginning of a prolific career that spanned over 17 seasons in the NHL. Jokinen primarily played as a center and became known for his offensive skills, leadership qualities, and durability on the ice.
