Biography
Ondřej Pavelec was born on August 31, 1987, in Kladno, Czech Republic. He emerged as a prominent ice hockey goaltender, known for his agility and reflexes. Pavelec began his professional career with HC Kladno, where he showcased his talents in the Czech Extraliga before advancing to the National Hockey League (NHL).
In 2005, Pavelec was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the second round of the NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut in the 2009-2010 season and subsequently served as the Thrashers' starting goaltender.
