Biography
Pascal Vincent, born on September 22, 1971, in Rimouski, Quebec, is a former professional ice hockey player and prominent coach in the National Hockey League (NHL). Vincent played as a forward and began his professional career in the early 1990s, featuring in various minor leagues before making his NHL debut with the New York Islanders during the 1993–94 season. Over his playing career, he appeared in a total of 88 NHL games, spending time with the Islanders and the Atlanta Thrashers.
Following his playing career, which concluded in the early 2000s, Vincent transitioned into coaching, where he established a reputation for developing young talent. He served as an assistant coach for the Manitoba Moose in the American Hockey League (AHL), where he focused on the development of players and strategies for team success. In 2016, he was named the head coach of the AHL's Manitoba Moose, further solidifying his credentials in the coaching ranks.
In 2020, Vincent joined the Columbus Blue Jackets as an assistant coach, where he made significant contributions to the team's coaching staff.
