Patric Hörnqvist, born on January 1, 1987, in Sollentuna, Sweden, is a professional ice hockey player known for his tenacity and goal-scoring ability. Standing at 5 feet 11 inches and weighing 185 pounds, he plays as a right winger. Hörnqvist was selected by the Nashville Predators in the seventh round, 230th overall, of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
Hörnqvist began his NHL career with the Nashville Predators in the 2008-09 season, quickly establishing himself as a reliable scorer.
