Patrick Kerney, born on December 30, 1976, in Portland, Oregon, is a former professional American football defensive end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons. He attended the University of Virginia, where he excelled in collegiate football, earning all-conference honors and becoming known for his impressive pass-rushing abilities. Kerney was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft, establishing himself as a strong defensive presence in the league.
