Patrick Lalime is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender, born on July 7, 1974, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. Lalime played junior hockey with the Granby Predators of the QMJHL, where he gained recognition for his exceptional performance. He was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 6th round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, marking the beginning of his professional career.
Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Lalime established himself as a reliable goaltender in the NHL, with his most notable tenure occurring with the Ottawa Senators.
