Patrick Wiercioch, born on September 12, 1990, in Burnaby, British Columbia, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman from Canada. He was drafted 42nd overall by the Ottawa Senators in the second round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Wiercioch played junior hockey with the University of Denver Pioneers in the NCAA, where he showcased his offensive skills and defensive prowess, helping the team reach the NCAA Frozen Four.
