Patrik Berglund, born on June 2, 1988, in Västerås, Sweden, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his prowess as a center. He was drafted 25th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and quickly gained recognition for his combination of size, skill, and two-way play. Berglund made his NHL debut during the 2008-09 season and quickly became a key contributor to the Blues.
Throughout his NHL career, Berglund played primarily for the St. Louis Blues, where he became known for his scoring ability and reliability in the faceoff circle.
