Paul Calhoun is a former professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard. Born on January 15, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, Calhoun attended the University of North Carolina, where he played for the Tar Heels from 2003 to 2007. He was a key player during his collegiate career, leading the team to an NCAA championship in 2005 and earning multiple All-American honors.
After going undrafted in the 2007 NBA Draft, Calhoun began his professional career overseas, signing with a team in Italy's Serie A. He later returned to the United States and played in the NBA for the Charlotte Bobcats during the 2009-2010 season, where he averaged 10.5 points per game in limited playing time. Calhoun also had stints in the NBA Development League, further showcasing his scoring capabilities and versatility on the court.
Following his retirement from professional basketball, Calhoun transitioned into coaching, mentoring young athletes and emphasizing the importance of teamwork and discipline.
