Paul Gruber, born on February 24, 1965, in Coldwater, Ohio, is a former professional American football offensive tackle. Gruber played college football at the University of Florida, where he earned All-American honors during his senior year in 1987. He was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the fourth overall pick in the 1988 NFL Draft, marking the beginning of a notable 11-season career in the National Football League (NFL).
Throughout his career, Gruber established himself as a cornerstone of the Buccaneers' offensive line, known for his exceptional blocking skills and durability. He started in 169 games, earning Pro Bowl selections in 1997 and 1999, while also being named to the All-Pro team in 1996.
