Paul Hewitt, born on May 4, 1963, is a former professional basketball player and coach from the United States. He played college basketball at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where he gained recognition for his scoring ability and playmaking skills. After graduating, Hewitt went undrafted in the 1985 NBA Draft but went on to play in various leagues, including the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) and overseas in Europe.
Hewitt transitioned from player to coach in the late 1990s, ultimately becoming the head coach at Georgia Tech from 2000 to 2011.
