Paul Krause is a former professional American football safety, born on February 19, 1942, in Portsmouth, Ohio. He played college football at Iowa, where he earned All-Big Ten Conference honors before being drafted by the Washington Redskins in the 1964 NFL Draft. Krause quickly established himself as a key defensive player, showcasing his exceptional skills with a remarkable ability to intercept passes.
Throughout his 16-season NFL career, Krause achieved significant recognition for his outstanding performance on the field.
