Pearl Pollard is a former professional basketball player known for her exceptional skills as a forward in both collegiate and professional leagues. She attended the University of Tennessee, where she played under the renowned coach Pat Summitt. During her collegiate career from 1980 to 1984, Pollard helped lead the Lady Volunteers to a national championship in 1982 and earned multiple accolades, including All-American honors.
Following her impressive college career, Pollard was drafted in the inaugural Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) draft in 1997 by the Los Angeles Sparks.
