Perry Berezan, born on December 5, 1964, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his tenure in the National Hockey League (NHL) during the late 1980s and early 1990s. A forward who played primarily as a right winger, Berezan was drafted 96th overall by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft after a successful junior career with the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Western Hockey League (WHL).
Berezan made his NHL debut in the 1986-87 season, going on to play for several teams including the Minnesota North Stars, Calgary Flames, and the Philadelphia Flyers. He is best remembered for his solid two-way game and scoring ability, which culminated in his career-best season in 1989-90 with the North Stars, where he recorded 25 goals and 36 points, contributing significantly to his teams during his professional career, which spanned over a decade.
