Pete Carroll, born on September 15, 1951, in San Francisco, California, is a prominent American football coach and former player, best known for his role as the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football as a defensive back at the University of the Pacific before transitioning into coaching.
