Biography
Peter Mannino, born on February 17, 1984, in Brownstown, Michigan, is a former professional ice hockey goaltender from the United States. He played junior hockey with the Des Moines Buccaneers in the USHL, where he showcased his skills and earned a scholarship to the University of Denver. Mannino gained recognition during his collegiate career, leading the Pioneers to an NCAA championship in 2004 and earning All-American honors.
Mannino was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 6th round, 163rd overall, of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Thrashers during the 2010-2011 season and played a total of 16 games in the league. Throughout his professional career, he played for several teams in the American Hockey League (AHL), including the Chicago Wolves and the Manitoba Moose, solidifying his reputation as a dependable goaltender.
After retiring from professional play, Mannino transitioned into coaching, contributing to the development of young players in various leagues.
