Biography
Peter Parrish is a former professional American football player who played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). Born on April 14, 1985, in Miami, Florida, he excelled in athletics during his high school years at Miami Central High School. Parrish went on to attend the University of Florida, where he became a standout defensive player and earned All-SEC honors.
Parrish was selected in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. Over the course of his seven-season career, he recorded over 500 tackles, 25 sacks, and 10 interceptions, showcasing his versatility and impact on the field. He was named to the Pro Bowl twice and was a key contributor to the 49ers’ defense during their playoff runs, including a trip to Super Bowl XLVII.
