Peter Popovic, born on February 10, 1968, in Sweden, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his skills as a defenseman. He began his career in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) before making a significant impact in North America, playing in both the National Hockey League (NHL) and American Hockey League (AHL). Popovic was drafted 36th overall in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils.
