Biography
Peter Sejna, born on October 5, 1979, in Bystrica, Slovakia, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his contributions to the sport both in Slovakia and in North America. Standing out as a forward, Sejna began his career in the Slovak Extraliga with HC Kosice before moving to the United States to pursue opportunities in NCAA hockey. He gained prominence while playing for Michigan State University, where he was instrumental in leading the team to win the 2007 NCAA Championship.
Sejna was drafted 99th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, marking the beginning of his professional career in the National Hockey League (NHL). He played a total of 34 games in the NHL for the Blues during the 2005-2006 season, showcasing his skill and versatility on the ice.
