Peter Stoykewych, born on July 14, 1992, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey defenseman. He played junior hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for the Winnipeg Ice and the Kootenay Ice, where he developed his skills and garnered attention for his defensive play and offensive capabilities. After a successful junior career, Stoykewych was drafted 139th overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 5th round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
