Peter Sturgeon, born on February 12, 1954, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player who made significant contributions to the sport during his career in the 1970s and 1980s. He was drafted in the 4th round, 53rd overall, by the New York Islanders in the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft.
