Peter Taglianetti, born on August 15, 1963, in the United States, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his tenure in the National Hockey League (NHL). A defenseman, Taglianetti began his junior career in the early 1980s and played college hockey at the University of Massachusetts, where he showcased his defensive skills and leadership on the ice. He was selected in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Taglianetti made his NHL debut in the 1987-88 season and went on to play for several teams, including the Pittsburgh Penguins, Quebec Nordiques, and the Dallas Stars.
