Biography
Phillip Adams was born on July 20, 1988, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He attended the University of South Carolina, where he played college football as a cornerback. Following his collegiate career, Adams was selected in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
During his professional career, Adams played for several NFL teams, including the San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets, and the Atlanta Falcons. Known for his versatility as a defensive back, he showcased his skills in both special teams and secondary roles. Adams accumulated a total of 78 tackles and 3 interceptions over his career, contributing to various defensive strategies while adapting to different team dynamics.
