Biography
Pierre Guité, born on April 17, 1952, in St. Etienne, Quebec, is a retired Canadian ice hockey player known for his contributions to the sport during the 1970s and 1980s. He played as a forward and was recognized for his agility and competitive spirit on the ice. Guité began his junior career with the Shawinigan Cataractes in the QMJHL, where he showcased his scoring ability and earned a reputation as a talented young athlete.
Guité was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the second round of the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft. He made his NHL debut during the 1975-76 season and went on to play for multiple teams, including the New York Rangers and the Colorado Rockies.
