Pontus Åberg is a Swedish professional ice hockey player, born on September 23, 1993, in Kalix, Sweden. Known for his offensive abilities and versatility as a forward, Åberg began his professional career with Luleå HF in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) during the 2011-12 season. He gained recognition for his scoring talent and was selected 37th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Åberg made his NHL debut with the Predators during the 2016-17 season and contributed to the team's journey to the Stanley Cup Finals, becoming a significant part of their successful playoff run.
