Preston Dennard, born on November 28, 1955, in Los Angeles, California, is a former professional American football wide receiver who had a notable career in the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football at the University of Oregon, he was selected in the eighth round of the 1978 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. Dennard's career spanned over a decade, during which he played for the Lions and later the Atlanta Falcons and the Houston Oilers.
Throughout his time in the NFL, Dennard established himself as a reliable pass-catcher, known for his speed and agility on the field.
