Radek Štěpánek, born on November 27, 1978, in Karviná, Czech Republic, is a retired professional tennis player renowned for his versatile playing style and strong doubles performance. Turning professional in 1996, Štěpánek achieved significant success on both the ATP singles and doubles tours, earning a career-high singles ranking of World No. 8 in July 2004 and a doubles ranking of World No. 4 in March 2012.
Throughout his career, Štěpánek captured a total of 4 ATP singles titles and 5 doubles titles, including a notable victory at the 2012 ATP World Tour Finals in London, where he played a crucial role in winning the doubles tournament alongside his partner Leander Paes.
