Rafael Herrera, born on January 7, 1945, in Mexico, is a former professional boxer known for his significant contributions to the sport during the 1960s and 1970s. Competing primarily in the featherweight division, Herrera earned a reputation for his exceptional boxing skills, speed, and tactical acumen. He turned professional in 1961 and quickly climbed the ranks, capturing the World Featherweight Championship in 1965.
