Rajendrasinh Jadeja, born on November 29, 1955, is a former Indian cricketer known for his all-round capabilities. A left-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler, Jadeja made significant contributions to Indian cricket during the 1980s and early 1990s. He made his Test debut for India in 1981 and played a total of 24 Test matches, accumulating over 1,000 runs and taking 25 wickets.
Jadeja is perhaps best remembered for his outstanding performances in One Day Internationals (ODIs), where he represented India in 196 matches. His talent was showcased during the 1983 Cricket World Cup, where he played a crucial role in India's historic victory. Additionally, Jadeja was known for his agility on the field, earning recognition as one of the finest fielders of his era.
