Biography
Randall Woodfield, born on December 26, 1950, in Portland, Oregon, is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL). Woodfield was a standout athlete at Oregon State University, where he showcased exceptional speed and agility. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 17th round of the 1974 NFL Draft.
During his professional career, Woodfield played for the Green Bay Packers and later had stints with the Memphis Showboats of the United States Football League (USFL). Though his time in the NFL was relatively brief, he is remembered for his contributions on the field, specifically in the development of offensive strategies that utilized speed at the wide receiver position. His athletic prowess was evident during his collegiate years, earning him recognition as a formidable player.
