Randy Gradishar, born on March 3, 1952, is a former American football linebacker who played for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL) from 1974 to 1983. He was a key member of the "Orange Crush Defense," which became renowned for its aggressive play style during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Gradishar was selected in the fourth round of the 1974 NFL Draft out of The Ohio State University, where he earned recognition for his collegiate performance.
Throughout his career, Gradishar was a consistent and impactful player, earning seven Pro Bowl selections and being named First-Team All-Pro three times. He reached the pinnacle of his career when he was inducted into the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame in 1989, honoring his contributions to the team's success.
