Randy Hedberg, born on December 27, 1954, in Minot, North Dakota, is a former professional American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He attended Minot High School, where he excelled as a football player, earning All-American honors. Following high school, Hedberg played college football at the University of North Dakota, where he set numerous passing records and solidified his reputation as a dynamic quarterback.
Hedberg was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 10th round of the 1977 NFL Draft.
