Randy Ladouceur, born on June 30, 1960, in Ottawa, Ontario, is a notable Canadian ice hockey defenseman recognized for his contributions to the sport throughout the 1980s and 1990s. He was drafted 50th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft and made his professional debut in the National Hockey League (NHL) during the 1983-84 season. Over the course of his career, Ladouceur played for several teams, including the Red Wings, the Hartford Whalers, the New York Rangers, and the Ottawa Senators.
Ladouceur's playing style was characterized by his defensive prowess and ability to contribute offensively from the blue line.
