Randy McKay, born on January 25, 1967, in Wawota, Saskatchewan, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his impactful role as a right winger. He played junior hockey in the Western Hockey League before being drafted 128th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. McKay made his NHL debut with the Devils during the 1991-92 season and quickly established himself as a gritty forward known for his physical style of play.
Throughout his 16-year NHL career, McKay played for several teams, including the New Jersey Devils, Detroit Red Wings, and Florida Panthers.
