Randy Wood, born on October 12, 1963, in the United States, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his versatility as a forward. He played junior hockey with the Peterborough Petes in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he showcased his scoring ability and earned attention from NHL scouts. Wood was selected in the 7th round of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders.
Throughout his NHL career, which spanned from 1984 to 1996, Wood played for several teams, including the New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, and the Anaheim Ducks.
