Biography
Rastislav Staňa, born on January 10, 1980, in Trenčín, Slovakia, is a retired professional ice hockey goaltender known for his contributions to both national and international teams. He began his professional career in the late 1990s with HC Slovan Bratislava in the Slovak Extraliga, showcasing remarkable skills and quickly gaining recognition in the league. After establishing himself in Slovakia, Staňa transitioned to North America, where he played in the American Hockey League (AHL) and briefly in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the New Jersey Devils.
Throughout his career, Staňa earned accolades for his performances, particularly during international competitions.
