Ray Emery was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender born on September 28, 1982, in Hamilton, Ontario. He was drafted in the fourth round, 99th overall, by the Ottawa Senators in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Emery began his NHL career with the Senators and quickly established himself as a capable starting goaltender, known for his agility and competitive spirit.
Throughout his career, Emery played for several teams, including the Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Flyers, and Chicago Blackhawks.
